With the New Year, many people have made resolutions to start being more healthy and get more exercise this year.

Eating more healthy meals, getting more exercise, staying active, drinking lots of water to stay hydrated and so much more!

A great addition to your newfound healthy lifestyle can be drinking delicious and nutritious smoothies to start your day (of course all the while using the WonderSip Straw to sip your smoothie with).

Smoothies can add a boost to your energy in the same way coffee does by adding things like matcha. Looking for your protein fix or a meal replacement shake? Smoothies are a great way to blend plant proteins and protein mixes to get your necessary nutrients on the daily.

Find below 3 of our favorite smoothie recipes to put a pep in your step in the morning, noon or night!

Energizing Matcha Smoothie

Depending on how much caffeine you want in your smoothie add more or less matcha content to your smoothie. Be sure to check out the matcha packaging to add the necessary amount and serving size of matcha to your smoothie for your liking.

To create this smoothie you will need:

1 cup of your desired milk type

1 frozen banana

¼ avocado

1 handful of baby spinach

½ tsp matcha powder

Bring all of the ingredients together in your blender and give it a good blend for about 30 seconds to 1 minute in order to fully blend everything! No one likes a chunky smoothie :)

Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie

Bring some fun into your Protein smoothie with a delicious Peanut smoothie. Any other kind of nut butter can replace the peanut butter ingredient if peanut butter is not to your liking (for example almond butter, cashew nut butter, etc).

Gather these ingredients in order to make the protein smoothie:

1 scoop of your favorite protein powder (chocolate or vanilla flavored protein powder works best!)

1 frozen banana

1 cup unsweetened milk of choice

2 tbsp peanut butter or peanut butter powder

½ cup of ice

Once you have all of the ingredients in your blender, blend it all up for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Gotta get that frozen banana all blended up! Make sure there are not any banana chunks left and then enjoy!

Get your favorite WonderSip Straw and stick it in your Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie and enjoy!
